Fuoriproduzione, design 70/90 is the title of the exhibition that Galleria Paola Verrengia and Nunzio Vitale present on December 18th 2011, at 11.30 A.M.
A journey through the design glass, Fuoriproduzione is a selection from a wide range of objects from industrial design, strictly connected to the artistic movements from the Seventies to the Ninenties. Among the works in the exhibition, rare pieces of furniture such as Box chair by Enzo Mari for Kartell, Venticinque lamp by Sergio Asti for Candle, Pierrot lamp by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Flos, O sole mio console by Giotto Stoppino for Acerbis and the aluminium objects for Cini&Nils.
Signed multiples share the fate of basic and functional design, expressions of minimalism or product of the far more decorative pop experience. Steel and processed metal rise coldly in the production of the period, mingling with a variety of other materials.
Everything is out of production.
